What this site is

GameStake is an independent editorial site covering competitive gaming news, with a focus on prize pools, escrow and payouts. It is a publication, not a shop, marketplace or financial service.

How articles are made

Articles are drafted with the help of AI language models. Each draft starts from an item in public gaming and esports news feeds and is written to fixed editorial rules covering structure, length, tone and neutral wording. Drafts are then scored automatically for quality and compared with existing articles to avoid near-duplicates. Articles that pass these checks are normally published automatically; they are not individually reviewed by a human editor before they go live.

We do not use personal bylines and we do not present articles as the work of named experts. The publisher of every article is the site itself.

Sources

Our sources are publicly available gaming and esports news feeds and announcements. An article is a new write-up prompted by a source item, not a copy of it. The site does not do original reporting: no interviews, no leaked or unpublished material and no first-hand testing, unless an article explicitly says otherwise.

Accuracy, corrections and updates

AI-assisted writing can contain mistakes, and details in fast-moving areas such as prize pools, payouts and tournament finance change quickly. Please check time-sensitive facts against the primary source before you act on them.

GameStake writes about prize pools, escrow and payouts. It does not process payments, hold funds, run prize pools or take entry fees or bets. Nothing here is financial, legal or gambling advice.
